What is MABA?
Before we get into the details, here are some stories from recent events:
·       An atheist answered the question. Though he was not open to persuasion, those who listened in realized the blindness of his perspective.
·       A Catholic family realized that sacraments can’t save and concluded that justification was by faith alone.
·       A same-sex couple felt the freedom to come to the microphone and discuss the way to get to heaven with us.
·       Two former addicts agreed with our statement that they did not deserve to go to heaven. Then they gave powerful testimonies of their transformation through God’s grace.
·       A team of tennis players from a local college tournament poured out questions and then, satisfied with the answers, asked how they could be born again.
·       A street preacher, who normally terrorized passersby so that they fled from him, was amazed at how we were attracting the same people. He listened and learned and wants to join us next time.
·       A teenage girl was convinced of her need for Christ and believed on the spot. Her elder sister watched and listened and then joined her sibling.
·       A number of people said they were going to heaven because of Jesus, but could not explain why. We helped them understand that it is through Christ’s work, not theirs, through His goodness, not their own. They were so thankful that they could now explain their faith more clearly to others.
What are MABA micros & macros?

MABA micros

At these events, we set up a table in a public arena, put a gospel truth on a banner and ask people if they agree or disagree.  This starts a dialogue and makes a way for them to hear the gospel.


Our banner - “We’re not good enough to go to heaven—agree or disagree?”—attracts the needy but alerts the self-righteous.


We are receiving people from all walks of life at the microphone and many others who stand by and listen in. Our conversion rate is high, as is our follow-up invitation to a local church.


MABA macros

These are rallies held in town squares. Through focused social media marketing, we invite believers throughout their city to a public gathering to “Make America Born Again.”


We interview participants as to how the grace of God changed their lives and then worship God together. There are three key moments in this gathering (the 3E’s).


·       Evangelism – where the friends of believers hear the gospel.

·       Edification – where believers hear how to apply grace to all areas of life.

·       Empowerment – where all are equipped to hold MABA micros in their schools, colleges, and public places and where all are filled with the Spirit.

At every event, there is interest in Christ and His grace.
·       A fashionable young man said he was definitely good enough to go to heaven. I showed him that we might think we are good compared to others but that does not make us perfect. He quickly changed his thinking and accepted Christ as his saviour.
·       A young couple were religious but had not understood their need of faith, not works, to be saved.
·       A college student burst into tears as he testified to receiving Christ as Lord.
·       A passerby was deeply impacted by the concern we had for his future and eternity.
·       A fellow believer testified of his own dramatic conversion and encouraged others to do the same.
.   Many bystanders were approached by our team and asked if they aggreed of disagreed with our statement. These were invited to follow-up events.
Our Vision for 2026

We have the opportunity to get huge results. So in 2026, we plan to hold:


·       Weekly MABA micros

·       Monthly MABA macros


Beyond this, we will produce:


·       Training materials & resources

·       Consolidation course for converts


But to turn the vision into reality, we do need help.  Could you kindly support us in some way?  We’ve put together a budget outline that would cover our costs for the year.


Monthly Events

·       MABA micros – $2000

·       MABA macros – $1000

·       Total (over 12 months) = $36,000

(These costs include local permits, materials, set-up, and transport.)


Monthly Overheads

·       Monthly budget: $7,000.

·       Total (over 12 months) = $84,000

(This covers costs of internal travel, telecoms, office and administration, and staff.)


Annual

·       MABA UK mission (Jul) - $6000

·       MABA Brazil mission (Nov) - $6000

·       Total = $12,000

(These costs include transport, accommodation, and event expenses)

Adding up the above budget, below is the overall increase we are praying for to fulfil the vision in our heart for 2026.

·       Annual Budget: $132,000

·       Monthly Budget: $11,000


We currently have a group of patrons who financially support our work. Some give one-time gifts, and others give regular monthly amounts ranging from $50 to several hundred.

MAGA Q&A
  • Q: Is MABA a political movement?
    A: No! It’s spiritual.
  • Q: Why the name MABA, "Make America BORN Again"?
    A: I believe that the heart of the human problem is the problem of the human heart! Change the heart, and you change the nature. Change the belief, and you change behavior. True change is inside out, not outside in. Laws, rules, and regulations cause people to obey through fear or force. But God causes people to desire to do good in their hearts.
  • Q: Do you think you can MAKE America born again?  
    A: No, but we’re going to try :)! Obviously, regeneration occurs by the power of the Spirit of God alone, but He works through our words.
  • Q: What about MAGA (Make America GREAT Again)? Do you agree with that?
    A: This is a spiritual movement, not a political one. But even so, I believe that a strong America can be a force for good in the world. Where would the free world be if the US had not entered the 2WW? The US is the freest and richest nation on earth and has a constitution that protects and promotes the liberty and prosperity of all. But ultimately, America will only be truly great if America is born again.
  • Q: What’s different about the message?
    A: Even though our discussions can be fervent, we aim to be respectful and graceful.  Many evangelists (and especially street preachers) are hard on the public. Jesus was not. He had compassion on the lost and didn’t condemn the sinful. He told the woman at the well, who had had five husbands and was now in a relationship with a sixth without marrying him, simply that she was looking in the wrong place for satisfaction, something only found in His presence. Much of the church has become an enemy of sinners and a friend of the Pharisees. Like Jesus, we are compassionate to sinners and confronters of the self-righteous!
  • Q: How are you spreading the MABA message?
    A: Currently, we are piloting the strategy in public places, such as downtown squares and college campuses.  But we also plan for these discussions to take place from house to house through small group gatherings.
  • Q: How can others be involved?

Support the vision

In 2025, through the TGM charity, nearly $100,000 (£75,000) was invested to launch new initiatives, sponsor missions, and provide ministry support.
